Nearly all of our products are resistent to fertilizers and chemicals which are used in agriculture. There are three different possibilities to get the fertilizer through the irrigation system to your plant.
1. FERTILIZER TANK
This is the most commonly used method for large installations and consists of a fertilizer tank (90 l / 120 l / 150 l) and a fertilizer tap with a check valve (1" to 3") which is installed at the splitter before the filter. Here, the fertilizer is mixed in the tank and led into the irrigation system by opening the fertilizer tap at the tank. The advantage of this method is the low pressure reduction of max. 0.5 bar.
2. MAZZEI FERTILIZER INJECTORS
The liquid fertilizer can also be fed into the system through a bypass in the main hose by means of a Mazzei injector. The Mazzei method is recommended for large installations with sufficient pressure and water. The pressure reduction amounts to up to 1 - 2 bar.
3. Tefen or Dosmatic
The water-driven injector pump is the most exact supply method and works with a pressure of 0.3 to 6 bar. The fertilizer is being sucked and fed in by means of the moving piston and the water. |
